How Hink works.

Hink is Swedish for bucket. Fill one with files and folders, share it as one link, and it empties itself when the link stops working. Here's how, and what we do to keep it safe.

  1. Fill it

    Drop files and whole folders on the page, or choose them. Folders stay folders.

  2. Share one link

    Copy it, or let Hink email it for you. Add a password if you like.

  3. It empties itself

    When the link stops working, the files are deleted. Nothing lingers.

02 / Security

Built to be trusted.

What happens to your files, said plainly.

  • Checked for malware

    Every upload is scanned before anyone can download it, and harmful files are blocked.

  • Encrypted on the way

    Every upload and download goes over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

  • Encrypted where it's kept

    Every file is encrypted with AES-256 where it's stored.

  • Only what's needed

    We keep your email, your files' names and sizes, and who you sent them to, so Hink works. Never sold, never used for ads.

  • Never used to train AI

    We never use your files, messages or personal details to train AI, and never give them to anyone for that.

  • Nobody opens your files

    Only the automated malware scan reads them. A person at Hink looks only if a transfer is reported as illegal.

  • No tracking without your yes

    Analytics only run if you say yes, and card details are typed only at Stripe.

  • Gone on time

    When a link stops working, its files are permanently deleted.

  • You decide

    A password on any link, and delete a transfer whenever you want.
